Why You ARE an Artist   

                                                                                               

You create, in your head, in your bed,

While walking, while shopping, while lopping a tree branch

You create from your whole being, your soul,

Your heart, your sex, a lunar flood,  your boiling blood.

You create the tangible from the ethereal,

You mould, shape, chisel, and weave words  and colour, sound and light.

You know great crescendos and infinite falls.

You strive, you  fret, turn away, return, retouch, review.

You show and share, you, bold and out there.

You ; lifted,  bolstered, exhausted, lauded, castigated,  derided, loved.

You  experiment, refine. You rip and dissect,

You flow, you are consumed, you experiment and  diverge, you grow.

You ARE an artist.
